Plans Underway for the 12th Annual
Celebration of Cultures Festival
October 4, 2008
Nashville, TN – SAVE THE DATE! Nashville Metro Parks and Scarritt-Bennett Center are once again planning the annual Celebration of Cultures festival. Back for its 12th year, this FREE popular event will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008, from 10 AM - 6 PM.
Celebration of Cultures exists to celebrate and embrace cultural diversity through respecting, understanding, and appreciating the cultures of the Greater Nashville population. The festival has reached out to over 50 cultures through dance, music, visual arts, a children’s area, and exotic food samplings. This annual event provides a spectacular interaction of our unique diversity and an exciting awareness and education of who we are as a Nashville people.
Applications are now being accepted for participation as performers, volunteers, food vendors, world market vendors, children’s area activity hosts, and sponsorships. For more information visit the website at www.celebrationofcultures.org or phone 615.340.7450. Be a part of the celebration!
